Community Partner Testimonials

Miya Music Therapy has helped our retirement home come alive with music! The music therapist brightens our assisted living facility floor and the residents truly enjoy having her here. It is such an empowering feeling to watch our community members living with Alzheimer's disease come to life with the music of the past. We would recommend this program to anyone!

Miya Music Therapy has been providing music therapy sessions for our residents for the past few years. The residents thoroughly enjoy the music therapist's creative and thoughtfully planned sessions. She tailors the sessions to the participants' interests, needs, and abilities and encourages their participation and involvement. I have personally witnessed the positive impact that this has made in improving the lives of our residents. Miya Music Therapy has also played an active role in educating staff about the benefits of music therapy.

We are very lucky!

Miya Music Therapy has been a great company to work with. They responded quickly to my inquiry and set us up with the music therapist in a timely fashion. The music therapist has been an incredible asset to the adult day program. He brings life and light to the clients that he meets. He is very personable and ensures each program is individualized for the clients.
